This is Sunday 1-1-2-3 with George.
Welcome to the 101st edition.
🚀 Sunday 1-1-2-3 is transitioning to a paid model.
But before you even think of it as just another expense, let me unpack the immense value you'll be getting each month:
✅ First off, you can dip your toes in with a 7-day free trial. Test the waters, no strings attached.
✅ Every Sunday, like clockwork, you'll receive weekly actionable posts designed to sharpen your product management skills.
✅ Get exclusive, members-only monthly deep-dives on trending topics in product development that are shaping the industry. This is in addition to the mini-guides I write to supplement the weekly posts.
✅ And the cherry on top? You'll gain free access to the prodmgmt.world + prioritization.world Notion bundle (which is a goldmine for PMs) that usually costs $65 - for $0!
All of this is available for just ~ $0.26 a day (annual pricing is even cheaper).
I put multiple hours a week on weekends into research and writing, to condense it all down for you.
You’re welcome to remain a free subscriber, too. I hope I can still provide value.
I hope you stick around. But if not, it’s been a pleasure to have you as a subscriber up to now! 🤝🫡 Your attention is precious!

Goal Practice For Better Product Sense
Open a new Google doc or your note-taking tool.
Quickly choose a product that is not directly related to your current work. (You can use your note-taking tool as a product, if you’re stuck.)
Write down all potential goals of this product, considering various stakeholders: the company, the customers, and third parties. Write, don’t edit.
Reflect on the creators and users of the product. Note any additional goals based on their perspectives.
Review the product's marketing materials and add any new goals you infer.
Spend about 10 minutes on this exercise - save it in your calendar to do during a lunch break or at the end of a work day.
Just getting this practice in will get you in the zone for thinking about products in terms of the goals they have, the directional vectors they must follow, and the paths they might take.
Review your notes (after you’ve done it 5-10 times) & reflect on them, especially before you think about the goals for your product.
